Gameplay Strong Points: Using a combination of melee and web-attacks, such as web hammers designed to combine webbing with the environment, Spider-Man mixes up-close and long range combat, and can deal double damage on the web-based melee weapon attacks. After his beloved Uncle Ben died at the hands of a common burglar, a thief Peter could have stopped, he learned that with great power comes great responsibility. Amazing (Mainstream) Universe: When bitten by a radioactive spider at a science trip, Peter Parker gained the proportionate strength and agility of an arachnid. Each Spider-Man also has their own attributes: Agility ( Amazing (Mainstream)/Normal), Stealth ( Noir), Speed ( 2099), and Power ( Ultimate Symbiote). 
Each level has been said to average an hour of gameplay per level. There are also 180 different in-game challenges to complete and 96 hidden spiders to find in 12 levels, plus the end game boss level. The game is featured with Spider collectibles, also known as essence, to which you can use to buy new moves. Each with its own unique attacks and worlds/locations. The player is able to control four versions of Spider-Man.
